Auch Jefferson ist noch auf der Suche nach einem Plätzchen, wo er alt werden darf.
Jefferson kommt recht lustig daher mit seinem Zottelfell und seinen schwarzen Knopfaugen. Er kann auch unfassbar niedlich sein , läuft auf Spaziergängen entspannt ohne Leine und hat auch sonst keine große Ansprüche.
Wenn er aber etwas nicht will hat er manchmal etwas von einem Gremlin , der nass geworden ist. Er wird laut, hysterisch und schnappt wie eine kleine Schildkröte um sich.
Mit klaren Worten , einer Portion Selbstvertrauen und einem Sinn für Humor kann man damit gut leben. Den Maulkorb trägt er anstandslos und lässt ihn sich auch auf und abziehen.
Er wird nie der süße Schoßhund, der als aktives Mitglied der Familie mitläuft. Er ist eher so Typ am Rande , der seinen Platz in der Waschküche des Hauses hat und über das gesamte Grundstück patrouillieren darf. Bellen kann er auch anständig
Mit Hunden kommt er grundsätzlich zurecht , nimmt sich aber gern viel raus. Den stabilen Hundetyp stört das hier nicht weiter und die etwas empfindlichen Typen gehen dem aus dem Weg. Er lebt hier problemlos in einer Hundegruppe mit intakten und kastrierten Rüden sowie Hündinnen zusammen im Haus.
Er fährt gern mit im Auto , bleibt gut allein und hat keinen ausgeprägten Jagdtrieb.
Wir sehen ihn als Hofhund oder eben als Teil einer Gruppe, wo der Fokus nicht nur auf ihm liegt. Er wird nicht als Kinderhund oder ähnliches vermittelt.
